Limonite Ore Dressing Method Steps

The limonite dressing mainly has the following ways:

1. Washing, such as Guangdong Shaoguan Dabaoshan limonite.

2. Re-election, mainly using shaking table ,jigger.

3. Magnetic separation, electromagnetic or permanent magnet strong magnetic field dressing.

The limonite dressing is a problem in the field of mineral processing technology, limonite ore dressing methods commonly adopt roasting plus magnetic treatment process.

Limonite ore dressing method steps are as follows:

The particle size of less than 10mm, moisture less than 15% brown iron ore fines ore blending weight assigned amount to 0-8% of the pulverized coal into the rotary kiln; brown iron ore fines ore in rotary kiln accomplish drying, magnetic, arsenic removal, desulfurization process, the speed of the rotary kiln 0.8-1.5 r/m; rotary kiln calcination zone temperature of 800 150 C , drying zone temperature of 350 80 C; water cooling of the roasted ore after drying in rotary kiln ; then graded by classifier, return sand graded by sands magnetic pulley separator, overflow via concentrate pump to the wet weak magnetic separator, the magnetic part become the final product of iron concentrate.

Rotary drier is mainly composed of cylinder, under frame, feeding and discharging devices, transmission device, gear cover, etc. (Optional auxiliary equipment includes combustion chamber, feeder and discharging device, and dust collection equipment). Rotary drier manufactured by us adopts new lifting plate, which is of functions like guiding, current-sharing, and material raising. The materials are raised and evenly drop so that they are in full contact with heat for better drying efficiency. Our rotary drier is designed with the best working conditions, which enables it to save 10-15% of energy and increase 10-15% of productivity compared with common dryers.

Iron ore fines of low iron, high grade arsenic sulfur impurities brown ,coal blending, drying, calcination, magnetization ,take off the arsenic and sulfur impurities , are in the same kiln body, process simplification, baked mine after hardening grade , proceed magnetic separation after high iron grade, low-arsenic, sulfur impurities in magnetite powder. The limonite dressing method is widely used in the beneficiation of ores and residues containing weakly magnetic iron minerals.
