Lindsay Lohan Arrested After Nyc Accident

Lindsay Lohan: The "Liz & Dick" actress as she was arrested in New York City after allegedly clipping a pedestrian with her Porsche and leaving the scene, TMZ first reported.

We couldn't help but wonder. Has Amanda Bynes been impersonating Lindsay Lohan with her recent DUI arrest or is Lindsay Lohan pulling an Amanda with her car accident yesterday?

The 26-year-old actress was parking a 2010 Porsche Cayenne at 1 a.m. in an alley crowded with people outside the Dream Hotel when she struck a man, cops said.

The man, who the NYPD said is in his 30s, complained of being struck and was taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for a knee injury.

After the incident, Lohan entered a club adjacent to the Dream Hotel. Police arrived at the scene and arrested Lohan at 2:30 a.m.

The police spokesperson said Lohan was booked for a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury and released with a desk appearance ticket, which does not require posting bail. She was ordered to return for a hearing on the matter at a later date.

According to Lindsays rep Steve Honig, Lindsay is cooperating fully with law enforcements and has answered all their questions and provided them with everything they asked for.

Just a reminder: Not long ago, the Mean Girls star was reportedly named among the suspects of a theft from a private residence in Hollywood but, after the home owner withdraw his claim that the jewellery was stolen during a house party, investigators have decided there is insufficient evidence to bring a burglary charge against Lindsay Lohan, and they have dropped the case.

At that time, her spokesman Steve Honig said in a statement.Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming project.

Lohan has been trying to make a comeback after a string of legal and personal troubles, including stints in jail, rehab and court. She was released in March from almost five years of formal probation stemming from a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession arrest.
