The Lion King Musical is based on the 1994 animated film by Disney and it music was produced by legendary musician Elton John and produced by Disney Theatrical. It has now become one of the eight longest running shows in the Broadway's history. Alton Fitzgerald White better known as his Lion King's name Mufasa is offering a benefit holiday concert at Triad Theatre on Dec. 13 to her co-star Shannon Tavarez known as her Lion King name Nala who was diagnosed with AML - a rare and aggressive form of leukemia.

The magical Lion King Musical will also debut in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands at a specially-designed Sands Theatre in March 2011.
