The first thing you would need to set up your first email list online is a quality and easy to use autoresponder. And autoresponder is what you will be using to build your list. It is how you communicate with your subscribers, and what you use to make money. Basically without an autoresponder you won't be building very much of a list. Now there are many decent autoresponder services out there but there is only one I trust with my list! That is Aweber, it is by far the easiest autoresponder to get the hang of. I myself learned how to use it in a couple of hours.
Next you would need to write your email campaign (the emails people receive over certain periods of time after they subscribe to your list.) This is all done with your autoresponder service. Now this is a very important step in building your first list, as a matter of fact any list. With these emails you have to build a relationship with your subscribers. Without building this relationship there is really no trust, would you buy something from someone you do not trust? I though so. Remember, when you write these emails write with a personal touch, write as if you are talking to these people face to face.
Now this is where you can get creative... Now you have to promote your list and get subscribers. This is where you have to really think outside the box! Get the right mindset and you will succeed I can promise you that.
