The combination can be a powerful tool to teach our daughters how to "grow up" but not in too much of a hurry. That's why I'm suggesting pretend makeup instead of real makeup. How many mothers have had the experience of finding their daughters, much like my son and shaving cream, covered in makeup. Often times, with real makeup, the makeup is also covering the flooring, furniture, clothing, and not just the little girl. This by product usually results in our not seeing and using it as a teaching opportunity. So, look into little girls make up that is mess free as an alternative and get that teaching tool back you can't have too many of those.
