While cleaning your diamond ring, you should use a mixture of soap and water which makes your diamond more vibrant and dazing. Simply soak your diamond ring in a bowl of warm water and scrub meticulously using a soft brush. For better safe, you can use eyebrow brush or lipstick brush or else tooth brush for this. Once finished, rinse them well in cold water. Never use hot water to clean your ring that will spoil the shine of your diamond.

After rinsing it well, dry the jewelry using a lint free cloth or jewelry polish cloth and then watch how it shines.

It is not vital to clean your jewelry often but there are few occasions when your ring needs a stronger cleansing. For this, you can use ammonia solutions composed of 50% water and 50% ammonia solution. Make sure that the content of ammonia does not exceed the content of water otherwise it will corrode your jewelry.

Soak your diamond jewelry for about 30 minutes in this solution to regain the vibrant and gleaming nature of your diamond. After 30 minutes, rinse it well and pat them to dry.

If you do not have enough time to prepare the above mixtures, then you can just use liquid jewelry cleaner to restore the shinning of your jewelry. These liquid cleaner kits are most commonly available in departmental stores or wholesale jewelry shop.

These are a few ways to restore the glittering effect of your diamond ring. Clean your diamond at least once a month to maintain its luster and sparkle. After cleaning keep it in a velvet jewel box or else use cotton clothes. Never forget to clean your jewel once you wore it.
