I like to go to concerts, music is one of my hobbies

. I play the guitar, I love acoustic sets, I like big band, jazz, bluegrass, if its a live performance ill go see it. My biggest pet peeve however is going to a show with poor lighting and sound. Those two specs are highly important to running a good show. It would be like going to a laser light show without the laser lights, or a 4th of July festival without an American flag or fire works, you just cant have a live performance with out good quality sound systems and lights. I understand not every band can afford high quality sound equipment or lighting equipment, but there are companies who rent them out. In fact the rental business has become quite popular, especially since the economy took a down turn. And the best part about using rental equipment is that you get the job done, you dont have to put the equipment in storage, and you didnt pay the whole price of the equipment to use the equipment. Sometimes if your lucky, the venue already has sound and lighting equipment installed, and the band will have several options to choose from. If you have a band and are seeking to put a little extra spice into your show, I would recommend renting equipment or choosing a venue with light and sound equipment already installed. If youre a bigger more popular band you can hire a live production company to tour with, and they will take care of everything for you and will have all the equipment you could ever need.
