Rome is the holiday destination with style. Its hotels and cafes are second to none in the eternal city of Europe. Rome has always been popular but now it can offer both budget holidays and luxury breaks for all travellers, so we can all try la Dolce Vita from a Rome Hotel!

Rome has everything to offer. It has magnificent architecture from the Imperial Romans right through to the present day. At night, people in Rome go out after their evening meal. I recommend spending some time in your hotel getting ready, as Rome is a place to see and be seen. You could eat in your Rome hotel, or go out for fresh pasta, then onto try Rome's night life. Rome has bars and pubs, and also clubs and live music venues of all types. The evenings are warm so you can stay out late and enjoy the ambience of the city. Then back to your hotel for a good night's sleep before another day of sightseeing.

Rome is full of tiny little side streets so it is worth using your hotel as a base for exploring, as you never know what is round each corner. Tiny bars and cafes sometimes have a row of work men tucking into a plate of pasta or the excellent soups made in Italy, and this should be taken as a sign that the food is excellent. Many major tourist sites seem to be hidden down a side street, as Rome has so many they seem to be taken for granted.
