Few people have not heard the line "In God We Trust". Faith goes by many synonyms-- acceptance, allegiance, assent, assurance, belief, certainty, certitude, confidence, constancy, conviction, credence, credit, credulity, dependence, faithfulness, fealty, fidelity, hope, loyalty, reliance, sureness, surety, troth, truth and truthfulness. When it comes to belief in a higher being the synonyms change-- canon, church, communion, confession, connection, conviction, credo, creed, cult, denomination, doctrine, dogma, doxy, gospel, orthodoxy, persuasion, piety, piousness, principle, profession, religion, revelation, sect, teaching, tenet, theism, theology, worship. Notice the subtle change of definitions. In all religions and holy books we find sermons and preaching to humanity to have faith and continue believing in the supreme power of God. The Christian faith urges its disciples to lead a life based in the bible to be loved and delivered by the Lord. One must try to keep away from the seven deadly sins, also known as the cardinal vices or cardinal sins-- anger, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. To lead a Christian life is to educate and instruct oneself and your fellow beings, who have fallen prey to committing sin, on how to lead a life of deliverance and sacrifice for the greater good. Leading a Christian life means having an intimate fellowship with God and His children, that is, within ourselves. One must also try to abide by his commandments and discipline ourselves to stay away from sin.

To pray is to be one with the Lord. God looks and listens to prayers which are from the heart as it is the only necessary preparation for everything else. However, the prayer will not be heard unless it comes from a soul which has forgiven those who have wronged it. To forgive and repent are both hard. We feel angry when wronged, which may give rise to mutual hatred. Thus we must learn to forgive and also learn to face our faults so as to repent. Forgiving someone also means asking for forgiveness, if you have wronged someone. Being of the Christian faith insists that one must also study the bible and the scriptures as only then one can find the true purpose of one's existence. So to lead a life intended by God we must offer whatever we can, as little or as more, in the form of services to mankind and evangelizing. Thus, live life with faith, spread the word of the Lord and help your fellow beings Heaven awaits.
