London Hot Spot: Camden Town Fancy A Day Out?
Has work been too hard on you lately? Fancy running into random people at bars and having an awesome night out
? If you are a day person, have you asked yourself how you would like to spend a day out in London?
If you want a vibrant, lively space with excited crowds of all ages and race, arts and crafts along the lock and fashions from every walk of life, market stalls selling everything you can think of including jewellery you have never seen before, Popobe bears that are too cool to miss out on, hot food sizzling in street cafes, give Camden Town a try. Its absolutely bursting with character, and if the throngs are anything to go by, this is the perfect place to spend a day out in London. On the other hand, seriously, if youre looking for a quiet, secluded spot to hang with friends and have a nice, peaceful stroll with your date in London, Camden Town probably isnt the best place for you.
Spilling over with vintage and alternative pieces, original designs and bargain prices, you have the choice of the markets on Buck Street, the Lock or Camden Stables. As well as clothes and shoes, youll find jewellery, ornaments, food and drink, arts and crafts, books, games, furniture, fabrics and great gift ideas. Really, Youre spoiled for choice when it comes to markets here! If you are a tourist, you might want to take a note of everything you like and get them off myMzone (https://mymzone.com) later because at the end of the day, youre most likely to be laden with bags full of new purchases!
If you thought Artificial Intelligence is hard (like me), guess what its harder to resist the unique treasures here.
Now, lets talk about sex baby. Oh wait, no thats how the song that is stuck in my head goes. Anyhoo, lets talk about evenings with friends and night life; talking of which, Camden Town is also a brilliant place to go out in the evening. Theres a huge selection of bars and restaurants to start off, with music ranging from jazz and blues to thrash metal. Youll find nightclubs playing pop, r n b, drum and bass and dubstep, along with plenty of live music.
There are some famous venues that have played host to legendary musicians, such as Koko, Roundhouse, Proud Camden and The Dublin Castle. Some of them offer free entry, a few charge at the door and others require tickets to be bought in advance. So my advice to you is to check before you go to avoid disappointment. If youre planning to have a drink or three, make sure you plan your travel home; theres a tube from Camden Town on the Northern Line, but this finishes shortly after midnight.
I still think Swedish club scene is better :/
To complete the circle and to show that there really is something in Camden Town for everyone, let us talk about family. For a day out with the family, get off at Camden Town and visit London Zoo. Its a real adventure, especially for those who have never had the chance to see wild animals up close before. Living in the city means you dont get much exposure to natures creatures, aside from rats and foxes (Im sure youve seen a LOT of them in London, if you havent I can recommend you several places where you will =D). At the zoo you get to see monkeys and apes, lions, tigers, meercats and giraffes. You can walk through the Aquarium and the reptile house, or inspect insects and butterflies. There are plenty of cafes and food stalls here too if you need some refreshments.
