Long Island Hyundai Customers: Like Mid-Island Hyundai and Help National Kidney Registry

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. Long Island Hyundai dealership Mid-Island Hyundai is a devoted supporter of the National Kidney Registry (NKR), a nonprofit organization that matches kidney donors and recipients throughout the world in one common registry.

As part of Mid-Island Hyundai's continuous goal to support the NKR, the dealership is bringing fundraising activities to Facebook. For every person who likes the Long Island Hyundai dealership's Facebook page, Mid-Island Hyundai will donate $1 to NKR from now until the end of the month up to $1,000.

Mid-Island Hyundai General Manager Frank Allen said, "We're firm believers in giving back, whether it's more affordable cars for the local community or contributing to a major cause that could potentially benefit anyone in the country or the world. We support many different organizations and the National Kidney Registry is included in that important list. For this month we're inviting everyone to visit our Facebook page, click the like button, and we'll donate $1 to the National Kidney Registry. It's as simple as that."

Mid-Island Hyundai is one of the Long Island Hyundai dealerships included in Atlantic Automotive Group. In addition to the Mid-Island Hyundai Facebook fundraiser, Atlantic Automotive Group as a whole is involved in supporting the NKR. Atlantic Automotive Group's John Pickett, Chief Operating Officer, and Michael D. Brown, Vice President of Operations, are being recognized for their fundraising work on NKR's behalf during the Second Annual Gala Reception and Dinner from 6-9 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Proceeds from the gala will go directly to the nonprofit group.

The National Kidney Registry's mission is to save and improve the lives of people facing kidney failure by increasing the quality, speed and number of living donor transplants in the world.
