Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its long range integrated reader which is an all-in-one device that operates at a frequency range of 860 to 960 MHz. It is an ideal solution for applications such as logistics, access control and ticketing.

This ultra high frequency long range RFID reader, model 216021, can also be used in intelligent traffic management such as ETC, custom clearance, parking lot and automatic weighting. This integrated RFID reader features a compact size, easy installation as well as super anti-inference ability. It also provides a multi-reader synchronization function which allows multiple readers working at the same time.

This easy to use integrated reader utilizes a built-in 12 dBi antenna which ensures a long reading and writing distance of up to 15 meters. It is able to connect with a computer via RS-232, Wiegand26/34 and RS485 interfaces for data exchange. This integrated reader is compliant with ISO18000-6B, EPC Class 1 and EPC Class 1 Gen 2 standards. It also has CE and FCC certification and ABS housing which can protect the reader from harsh environment. Additionally, the range of RF power is 0 to 30 dBm which is adjustable via software.

This long range integrated reader belongs to GAO's family of 900 MHz RFID Readers. This line also includes 902 MHz to 928 MHz UHF Integrated RFID Reader which is suitable for global transportation applications, such as Electronic Vehicle Registration (EVR), electronic tolling and parking control, Desktop RFID Reader & Tag Programmer which is designed to verify ISO 18000-6C compliant RFID tags and offers extended functionality of customizable command set for NXP UCODE G2XM and G2XL tags, including EAS, Read protection and calibration and Integrated RFID Reader which is commonly used in applications such as at warehouse dock doors, on forklifts, parking lot gates, outdoor patrolling vehicles, highway toll stations, livestock tracking and container ports to name a few.
