It's funny. Recently, I was out reading someone's blog post that was discussing how I felt about social networking.

This person said I did not truly LIKE it. That's not necessarily true.

My big shtick with it is that it can be TIME consuming and takes away from REAL abilities that have to be built.

In other words, inbound links to your sites and that skill is loads more crucial than taking the time to beat building a net of people ( which can take a good year or longer ).
