One of the most popular choices in telescopes is the Newtonian reflector telescope.

The difference between Newtonian reflector telescopes and other telescopes is their utilization of mirrors instead of lenses to create light and enlarge images. Because these telescopes use rounded mirrors it's unlikely that spherical as well as chromatic abnormalities will arise. This basically means that images are clearer for the astronomer.

The Newtonian reflector telescope is also the first successful kind of telescope. At the lower part of the tube you will find the curved primary mirror. Some other telescopes available are the Schiefspiegler, Yolo, Herschelian, Cassegrain reflector as well as the Gregorian reflector.
