Bodybuilding clothing , to me, is a great way to express who you are and what your intentions are in the gym. Everytime i see some guy in the gym wearing one of those sleevless shirts your dad used to wear in 80s, i can instantly tell the guy is a joke. What you should be wearing is clothes that marks you as a hardcore bodybuilder.

I think the answer is obvious (not meaning to offend anyone, this article is aimed at bodybuilders). Dont look like a hobo in the gym, equip yourself like a bodybuilder!

Once you get your first proper bodybuilding shirt, you won't even thing about wearing your old ones ever again. Trust me on this one, ever since I got my two AnimalPak shirts one year ago I have been wearing them alternating to the gym every session. Baggy shirts are just one preference thou, tank tops and t-shirts are also a good option if you choose a good bodybuilding clothing brand. For people who are into that sort of thing, tank tops are great for when you are dieting down and want to expose a little muscle. What you wear to the gym has an impact on motivation, and thus an effect on your workout performance.

Bodybuilding clothing is also a factor in bodybuilding competitions, where each competitor has to choose what he will pose in (posing trunks). I put some links to where you can buy some on the main bodybuilding clothing page.

This is, of course, just the first step in your journey to looking good on the gym. Shirts are just one thing, then we have shorts, shoes, and other less popular things like hats and watches. Shorts are great on a leg day. Nothing beats walking around the gym grabbing plates, with your shorts bouncing with each step as your massive quads bounce.
