Looking And Feeling Older Than You Think You Should Be?

When you dig deep into the biology of why the aging process makes human bodies look old

, it is easy to see why serious proper exercise is the nearest thing to the mythical 'Fountain of Youth'. Exercise is the ultimate indisputable antidote for what makes a human body look, feel and function old before its time.

After all it is what happens to the stuffing on the inside of the body and not just wrinkling of the outer casing that makes a 60 year old body look very different to that of a 30 year old body. When muscle tissue withers, bone shrinks, flesh sags and posture droops this is what makes the human body especially look 'old'.

The reason for this deterioration is not the passing years; it is disuse. It is caused by a lack of enough muscle building and maintaining activity which causes a downturn in the release of the master hormones that initiate 'growth and repair'. This means old worn out cells and tissues are replaced and renewed with younger, stronger healthier ones that keep the human body in a 'youthful' state.

But the problem is that to get the benefits of these special cell and tissue rebuilders you need to keep your body strong - very strong. Not just doing a bit of gardening strong, or going for a walk strong. Low intensity activities will not even come close to keeping the human body strong enough to keep it youthful.

Most of us modern day humans go from day to day without ever 'moving a muscle'. We sit for 80 percent of our day and wonder why once we hit 30 years we go into a downward spiral in the way we look, feel and function. Each passing year it becomes worse as we do less and less in the way of proper physical activity.

Signs of aging from lack of these 'youth' hormones are loss of all over body strength, increased body fat especially around the mid-section, reduced energy and vitality, less 'get up and go' along with an increased susceptibility to disease and injury.

To keep the human body strong and youthful the muscular system needs to be kept strong with proper exercise. The way to do this is to perform a strength training program 2-3 times each week, efficient, quick and assessable to everyone. But you do need to work your muscles in a challenging way to stimulate the release of these anti-aging hormones.

When you do this you will quickly notice many positive health benefits. Strength can quickly be reclaimed and excess body fat reduced. Firmed up muscle tissue will again fill in the spaces left where tissue has been lost. A decade or two of disuse can be wiped away within just a few months of strength training with a bit of effort put in.

No other form of exercise can give you these benefits; you must work the muscular system through its ranges of movement under a load. But when you do this you will be rewarded with benefits that will surprise and delight you as well as keeping you looking and feeling 'youthful' no matter your actual age.
