So armed with these numbers, I started figuring how much I spend per day on groceries and eating out. After being brutally honest with myself, I realized I was spending about $8 $10 a day on my lunch at work (and occasional treats like coffee and muffins in the morning). And I probably spent another $10 on groceries for breakfast and dinner, so in actuality, I was already spending this much and more on my junk foods, but I did not realize it at the time.

Saving Money On Your Medifast Lean And Green Meals: Now, I do have to buy groceries for my Lean And Green Meals, but I have found the cheapest way to do that is to buy bagged salads and stir fry veggies and also to buy bulk chicken breasts, fish, and lean pork. I marinate the meat and freeze in single servings. I use the George Foreman grill to prepare the meats. If you buy tons of separate veggies that you have to chop and prepare, you'll have waste money and make more work for yourself.
