You are in a panic. You have just looked at the calendar and realized that your high school reunion or best friends wedding is just around the corner. You have picked out the perfect outfit, shoes and accessories for this event. The only problem is that you cant fit into this perfect outfit unless you lose weight. You are just about out of time. What can you do to lose 10 pounds a week? Dont freak out because you can! There are actually five things that you can do in order be 10 pounds lighter in just a few days. You will have to cut your carbs to an absolute minimum level to successfully lose 10 pounds a week. You will need to concentrate on eating fruits and vegetables for lunch and completely cut out bread, pasta, rice or any carbohydrate rich food. You need to eat enough fiber so that you will feel full so feel free to indulge in an apple or a few carrot sticks. Consume small portions of lean meats or beans. Do not eat any processed meat because of the high salt content. The salt will cause you to retain water weight. Be sure and drink a lot of liquids. Increasing your liquid intake will help in two ways. The extra liquid helps with digestion and will detoxify your body. The extra liquid will also help make you feel full so that you dont feel hungry between meals. Obviously, the best liquid is water. It wont do any good to only drink cokes or other high sugar drinks. Even drinks with artificial sweeteners can cause you to not lose weight. You will have to exercise more to burn more calories. If you normally exercise twice a week, exercise four times a week. Yes, it will take more time and you will be tired, but if you really want to lose 10 pounds quick, you are going to have to make the sacrifice. Another exercise tip is to choose short exercise workouts instead of long ones. Studies have proven that shorter workouts are more effective than longer ones. So, if you are planning to workout for thirty minutes four times a week, break the thirty minute sessions down into three sessions that are ten minutes long. This is one of the best ways to lose weight quickly. But, while these tips may seem very easy, they are pretty drastic and are not intended for long term dieting. Continuing this type of diet for long periods of time can be hazardous to your health. This method of weight loss can be very challenging. The limited calories can be hard to stick to as can the added exercise. You need to write down your goal and tape it up on the fridge and your bathroom mirror for motivation. Quick weight loss diets are great for very short periods of time. You will have to be careful because you will quickly gain back all the weight you lost and maybe more. Losing weight is not easy and many people struggle their whole lives trying to lose weight. One of the biggest problems is that most people nowadays are too busy to stick to a strict diet program or exercise regime.
