Drink Plenty of Water at Regular Intervals

Science proves that the more water you drink, the more likely your body is to force out excess water. In other words, if you drink plenty of water, your body which is programmed to only carry certain amount of water and will device a way to remove that water from your body.

This is either by peeing regularly or by sweating as much as possible. Since sweating is more effective during exercise, you are more likely to pee more if you are not the kind that is active. On the other hand, if you drink less water, you body will go as far as retaining every ounce of water it has to keep you hydrated. This may result in a slight increase if body weight.


Eat Less Salty Food:

The reason it is adviced that you eat less salty food is simply because salt retains water. Which mean, salt in your body will force it to retain water in order to dilute or break it down. Excess salt can also cause dehydration which is in conjunction with your body taking measures to retain as much water as possible. So, the less salt you eat the better. But if for any reason you are one of those who like to eat plenty of it, then you must counteract that by doing things to get rid of it. This been exercising. If you exercise and sweat in the process of doing so, the excess salt in your body will be flushed out with the sweat which will in turn lead your body to get rid of some water. That could, no doubt, lose you a few pounds of weight.

Minimise Your Daily Amount of Carbohydrate Intake:

Minimising your amount of daily carb in take is another way to go when it comes to losing some body weight or body water content. Carbohydrate is known to contain plenty water when stored in your body. So, the more of it you eat, the more water you have stored in your body. Of course, you need a reasonable carb intake on daily basis for energy. Reasonable in the sense that you should eat other energy giving food and cut down or, at least watch, how much carbohydrate your take on daily basis.

To summarise, if you can make the simple effort of drinking plenty of water everyday while eating less salty food and eating more low carbohydrate food, you could very well be lose as much as 2 kgs of weight in as little as 2 days. Ideally, that is approximately 10 Kgs in 2 weeks depending on how much you weight.
