Losing Jewelry, The Pressure
In countless shows and movies, losing jewelry can modify the story to a new direction
. An individual who lost the piece will begin to panic and cause a dramatic shift to the whole story. The change from the condition of normal behavior transforms so rapidly that they would worry before they think where they might have positioned it. The feeling of losing something would make someone feel flimsy. They will feel so puzzled and start searching throughout the house or apartment.
If, on the other hand, you purchased inexpensive jewelry like, cubic zirconia rings. The pain you endure from losing it will not be as painful compared to gold or silver. Due to the economic downfall, fewer amounts of people are willing to purchase high quality stones. CZ rings are some way similar to diamond rings but cost 1/10th the price. If I were to lose one ring, I would select the cz ring over the diamond ring. The response to losing something so costly is unendurable.
How would you feel if someone lost your clip on earrings that cost $10? How about if someone lost your diamond ring that cost $10,000? Perhaps, the person that lost your $10 can be forgiven, but its that much harder for someone who lost the $10,000 ring to be forgiven. It is utterly rational to me because of the value of the two jewelries. One might say that value doesnt come in cost. The individual will put the price on it. Therefore, losing something irreplaceable can also cause someone to feel unhappy and despondent. Im sure most people have misplaced something before. That feeling can trouble an individual by making them think about it the entire day.
