Lottery Winners in China Enjoy Hiding Their Identity

Lottery Winners in China Enjoy Hiding Their Identity

In China, there is a craze that many people are fond of buying lottery because they want to win it, then they do not need to go to work every day any more. American also have the same idea as Chinese. However, there does exist one difference between the Chinese and American who win the lottery.

Recently there is a piece of news says that one young American man won the lottery and he were taken lots of pictures with his great amount money by journalists, moreover, he allowed the press to post those pictures on their websites and newspaper. But in China, those winners will not permit the media to take photos of them, let alone pictures of the money with them. It is easy and common to see Chinese winners will wear mouth muffles, sunglasses, and hats to withdraw the prize. What s more interesting, it has become more and more common to see winners disguise themselves as cosplay. You may see the batman, spiderman, or medieval knights at the lottery center. Do they dress themselves up for fun? Do they want to be the focus of the public according to their special costumes and their odd behaviors? Or are the winners especially creative?

In fact, those special dresses are not practical jokes made by the winners. In order to protect themselves from the public's attention, they try to dress themselves up as action figures, movie and comic stars. They believe that those odd costumes will make them safe since the public cannot see their real faces under the covers. For example, one of the lottery winners was kidnapped by a group of intentional kidnappers after his issue was reported by one famous newspaper office. Another example is that most of the winners who did not cover themselves under the dresses were asked to make donations to the charity organizations like the Red Cross, the Hope Primary Schools etc. That's why most winners do not want to reveal their identities.

Maybe we can get some inspirations for the next Halloween's party from their dresses? Do you agree with me?
