Well, the title says it all. 16 months and flicker like a strobe. Suffice to say, LG and do the business for good after getting this piece down to me.
I own the LG screen in the 90s and swore off the business for ever. We have listened to my opinion and never bought the stake. As for monitoring my LG since the early '90s, two local workshops refused to adopt the monitor, the LG terrible service representative. One refused because he had personal problems with the LG (it must hate) and the second is an attempt ... LG is the wrong parts, and he called me and said: "I'm down. '? After repeated calls to customer service from LG, arranged for the return. Well, I've learned from this little life lesson and are now faced with a $ 1200 turd again.
He also made the mistake of buying a dishwasher that nearly all 600 USD LG scrubbing ... another error. Fortunately, the washer and dryer purchased LG is not bad.
This LG 52 "Scarlet, but it makes me angry again with LG. Grrrr.

This is a steal! I Paid 3 G's for mine when it came out
I love this tv its my prized possession. The picture is great, its the best tv to game on. I never have motion blur i think i saw it like twice watching a movie made in the 80's. The sound is not the best and that is the only thing i dont like about it, it is loud but the quality is lacking within the hidden speakers. The tv looks amazing any time anyone comes over they will definitely have something to say about the tv without a doubt. Its a head turner. I have had no problems with this tv and i have owned it for about 2 in a half years. So you know your money isnt going to waste. If you are having doubts about this purchase dont i paid $3,000 for this tv when it came out so for it to be less than 2G's thats incredible. I do wish it was 3d capable, but its not the newest most expensive tv on the market anymore, but at one point in time not to long ago it was the Tv of Tv's and still is high up there. I love this tv i really really do, and if you get it you will to.

Review on the 52LG70 120 HZ 1080P HDTV
Ever since I started buying Flat Screen TV's. Plasma and then finally LCD, LG has been the only brand that I have purchased. I am not saying that LG is the best but I think for the value, LG is the best fit for me. I did a lot of research on this unit before I purchased it. It was replacing an LG 42" Plasma 1080i/720p set I bought a few years back. It was still under warranty and the picture just went out. I got a check that covered about 90% of the purchase price for this unit. I bought this unit right when the LED TV's were coming out but I never buy anything first generation because I like to wait for the bugs to be ironed out before I spend that much money. This unit had everything I was looking for. 52", 120Hz. Multiple HDMI inputs and I really like LG's TrueMotion. It does take a little getting used to but I think it adds to the experience. I wished I would have waited for the 240 Hz unit but based upon what was available at the time, I feel like I got a gem. It has a fantastic picture and really dark blacks. I was worried because I heard LCD's don't render blacks as richly as Plasmas. I haven't noticed any issues with that. Could not be happier with this TV.All the ajustments you could want.I have an LG dvd player,satellite dish,ROKU,thumbdrive with all our pictures on it and hookup my laptop to it for a hugh screen most with HMDI connections.

this tv is great, first off- the remote. its simple, doesn't have thousand buttons on it- its simple, and easy.
the picture is great if you are watching HD and blu-ray, but if you are watching standard definition, then its best to watch it on your old tv (but since everything is pretty much in HD anyways- be patient).
the color saturation is accurate- meaning- its not to 'rainbow-ish'( there isn't an exaggeration of colors, every color is natural )
ex. the tide commercials are bright white, and the road on nascar is black really black, but you can see a clear distinction of color and detail between the road and the tires- (remember they tar the road before its driven on- so the road looks like new) unlike some tv's **coughs - sam - coughs - sung**
for the price, i couldn't find a better tv. i bought the tv, 3 year coverage, and hdmi cables (12ft) for under 2,000.
