Earth is a place where humans exist, if we continue to destroy it

, there will no place left to rightfully call "home". For every action there is a consequence, and for every cause there will be an effect thus we must exercise our environmental responsibility for the care of our home. Earth has been plagued by numerous of events that causes harm to its inhabitants. The cause for environmental catastrophes is simply everyday human routine of what is usually thought as harmless.

One of the everyday routine is gas emission. Emissions are concentration of gases that is released in the atmosphere, when it contributes to the heating of Earth, it is known as a greenhouse gas. Normal greenhouse gas is the result of normal environmental processes; it is good because it helps keep the Earth warm. Unfortunately, when greenhouses gas emissions become excessively high from man-made emissions and becomes concentrated, this destroys the Earth's atmosphere, contributing to a phenomenon known as the greenhouse effect.

The effect heats the atmosphere to a point that is causes harm. There are many types of destructive man-made gas emissions but most common are vehicle exhaust. This is a primary environmental responsibility that we must exercise. Vehicle exhaust contains high amounts of carbon monoxide and every time vehicles are used, carbon monoxide is released into the atmosphere.

One of our primary responsibilities is to decrease the number of times a vehicle is used. Some suggests the use of bicycles and walking rather than using vehicles as means of transportation. If the use of vehicles is necessary, emission testing is necessary to check the levels of dangerous gases emitted by the vehicle. If the vehicle cannot pass the emission testing then it is not allowed to be used. Some countries mandate vehicle emission testing to all vehicles.

Zero-emission cars have been invented to aid the environment such as electric cars and hydrogen cars powered by solar energy. If we continue to care for and be responsible for the environment, we can preserve our land's existence, prevent unwanted events, and reap the harvest of our actions for our mother Earth.
