And all of them try to out do each other to get people to stop by and chat and leave with a catalog, samples or a business card. But with all of the pretty booths and aggressive sales people, that does not guarantee a stop by visit from show attendees.

If you are a new vendor or if your products or services are not sexy, then you better plan to hand out something that brings folks over to meet you and review your organization's offerings. One of the best promotional items are candies and chocolates. Who does not enjoy a tasty piece of candy, a mint or a stick of gum. Especially after they have been walking up and down aisles lugging tote bags full of literature from other vendors.

Custom candy includes just about every convection that can be printed on the wrapper. And some candies like lollipops and chocolate bars can actually be pringed on the candy itself. A bowl of wraped mints will freshen breaths while miniature chocolate bars with your full color logo will attract prospects and leave a lasting impression, especially if you hand them some to take back to the hotel or airport.

When you use promotional candy as an attraction to draw business, you are going right to where many people think - in their stomachs. And don't worry about the candy being eaten and discarded. It is already done its job. Now it is up to you to lock in that client.
