When I think of a holiday in the Mediterranean the first thing I think of is relaxing in the sun working on tanning my "milk bottle" skin in peace. This is not always achievable in popular destinations just because of the hive of activity around you. In a villa, if yours has a private pool you can just lounge with the pool to yourself and your friends or family. If you are with your family, another bonus is that your kids can play in the pool without you having to worry about them getting lost. In such relaxing surroundings, there is little to stop you reading that book or working on that tan in relative peace and tranquillity compared to the bustle of other holiday accommodation solutions.
