MLM Recruiting - How One Simple Concept Can Explode Your Recruiting Efforts
When it comes to network marketing, recruiting is the name of the game
. Obviously marketing your business and generating leads is vital, but if you don't know how to recruit it won't matter how many leads you generate! There are so many ways people are taught to recruit people into their MLM businesses it can sometimes get confusing so I want to talk about some basic tips that can really help your recruiting skills. The tips and advice provided in this article are based on years of experience in the network marketing industry, seeing many people succeed and seeing many people fail.
Talk to friends and family, buying leads, cold calling, and passing out flyers is how network marketers are traditionally taught to recruit. However those out dated methods are not recruiting. Talking and pitching your opportunity to anyone who will listen is being more of a pushy sales man, and most of the people you are talking to have no interest whatsoever it what your doing. Now lets assume you are already generating qualified leads for your business, and by qualified we mean people that are actually interested in your opportunity and are seeking you out for more information. This is something that you should already have a handle on because without leads, you won' t have anyone to recruit! The best way to learn how to generate leads is to seek out the proper training and learn how to market effectively online, but that's a whole other subject.
So assuming that you are generating a steady flow of leads you need to learn how to talk to your prospects without SELLING them anything. Understand this... nobody, and I mean nobody, even if that person is actually interested in your business likes to be sold. You want your prospects to feel good about joining you. You want them to feel like they can benefit by joining you. They don't care about your company, your products, your comp plan, etc... They want to know how you can help them in whatever it is they are looking for.
The network marketing industry is huge so remember that your prospect has options and can join any company under any other network marketer so it is important to give your prospect a reason to join you. Understand that most network marketers are out there telling people anything they can to get them to join them in their business. Don't do that! When your prospects want more information, they really want to know how they can benefit by joining you. They want to know how you can help them succeed and feel confident that you can help them so don't tell them about your company's products, compensation plan, etc... tell them what they want to know! Make yourself stand out from 97% of other network marketers and give them a reason to join you!
Remember... people join people they know and trust. They don't join companies or opportunities. They don't really care about how great your company is or how lucrative the compensation plan is, they want to know how you can help them and how they can benefit by being a part of your team. Understand this, learn how to brand yourself as leader and someone who can offer real value to others and you will never have a problem recruiting people into your business!
