1. Definition: What is it that we really covet from life? In what timescale? And how much does it cost in terms of daily income?
Ferris calls this factor Dreamlining. It is quite amazing that when discussed in terms of TDI (Total Daily Income), the figure required to support our preferred lifestyle is significantly lower that we would in all probability imagine.
2. Elimination: Stop loading our heads with nonsense and spending time on irrelevancies. Paretos's 80/20 Principles are alive and kicking, and we would all intensify our production significantly as a result of focusing on the relevant 20% of factors that generate 80% of the results.
We may be as "Efficient" as we like, but are we positively being "Effective" in the areas we need to be?
"Effectiveness is doing the things that get you closer to your goals."
3. Automation: Producing an income on auto-pilot - the dream and goal of all serious Networkers.
4. Liberation: Total command of our time. Once the level of income we desire (step 1) is achieved on autopilot (step3), then we have Liberation, total control of our time, which is the ultimate prize.
Yes it might all appear so simple, all the same data reveal that 95% of people never even get into the game of life with less than 5% taking the time, or investing the emotional energy required to appreciate what it is they really want?
It would appear that life is structured around work work work; why not work for 2 months and take a month off - a mini retirement?
Why invest our lives into a system that is designed to support the few?
Very well Networking is also for the few, but the few who choose themselves.
