Maakoa opened it's door's on the 4th of july 2009 with a big bang after they held the title sponsor for the Stadium Of Fire, which was held at the LaVell stadiumn in Utah.

Maakoa is an MLM company that markets a health drink called Kupowaa. Their mission, they say is about personal development and a culture of excellence. Maakoa attempts to save your health and help you attain financial freedom through the MLM business opportunity they offer.

The Founders

When analyzing an opportunity it is imperative to scope out the leadership. If the leadership is poor at the top then the company is likely to flop and if it is strong then the company is likely to stay around for a long time.

The Founders of Maakoa are, Bruce Davis the President and CEO, David Simpson, Todd Kirkpatrick and Jeff Bruning.

If you go to the company website you'll get some info on these men and it all sounds impressive. They each have vast experience in the business world. Jeff bruning the Vice President of marketing and events himself has over 30 years of experience in Network Marketing.

The Company seems to have great leadership, the founders are all experienced and know what they're doing. Sounds good so far.

The Products

Maakoa has 3 product's in it's line-up so far, Kupowaa MXP3 Lean Protein and MXP3 Build Protein.

Kupowaa is their flagship and it contains Acai berry, Pomegranate and Blueberry with some cupuaca fruit added in.

These ingredients are said to be powerful anti-oxidants, however I'd just like to point out that I'm not scientist so I can't prove this.

I'd like to stay in the business aspect of Maakoa so moving on swiftly.

The Compensation Plan

Maakoa has a Compensation Plan that's quite standard in this industry. There are retail and preferred customer sales, fast start bonuses, team commissions, etc. etc. it all boils down to this. You have to find customers that like the products and put them on autoship and recruit Maakoa independent distributors who will do the same.
