Mac Os X Error - Finder Could Not Start

In Mac OS X, all the files, disks, and even the applications launching is managed by the Finder application

. It is a default Mac application with GUI, similar to shell in other operating systems, but with graphical user interface. However, if the Finder is not getting started, you may lose access to your critical data. If a user has no backup then it requires a Mac data recovery , if there is no backup in place.

If the Finder application gets corrupted , your Mac OS X computer may not complete the startup process. Along with this, you may encounter the below error message:

Finder could not start because 'DragLib-SetDragImage' could not be loaded.

You can fix this issue using Software Install or Software Restore disk, using the below steps:

Turn your Mac computer on and insert the Software Install disk, which comes with the system.

Press C key from keyboard at startup to boot your system from disk.

Open hard drive of your computer.

Open System Folder and then Extensions folder.

Locate the DragLib and Macintosh Drag and Drop files and drag them to Trash Bin.

Open Startup Disk's control panel and click hard drive icon.

Close Startup Disk's control panel and reboot your system.

If the above tips do not fix the issue, you are required to format your Mac hard drive and reinstall operating system. It removes all the data from your Mac hard drive and causes severe data loss.
