Madden Nfl 10 Differences
Madden NFL 10 is a mildly adjusted game from preceding years
. Because of this, you have to make adjustments to make sure you account for the changes in Madden games. While not dramatic, there are some tiny details you need to account for to make sure you keep on top of your Madden game.
The wildcat offense. While all the rage in the new phase of professional football, the wildcat scheme in Madden still needs some work. For some reason you can not really run with your quarterback, so the complete skill of this is not fully met. When using the scheme, only use it if you need an additional blocker for a predesigned play.
Passing long. Throwing long is not as effective in Madden, and for some reason, it is more of a challenge to throw a deep toss. Precision throws are not easy to come by, and your QBs deep pass stat is an integral part of it. This means that you can frequently clog the line of scrimmage and not have to worry about the deep toss, something that is not practical in real life.
Field goal changes. FGs are harder than ever, making it so you have to move your analog stick straight up and down or the field goal will go extremely right or left. Because of this you have to concentrate for every field goal or risk a horrible punt, field goal or kickoff. These can cause a large change in field position and move your game from a win to a slim defeat.
