The guy who gets angry and throws insults at you because you deigned turn him down he's not worth your while.
Then there's the guy who simply realizes you're reluctant to put your opinions forth and feels obligated to speak up every time. You might think you're doing him a favor by being so demure and soft spoken, but in the long run this can grow to be a problem.
A certain lack of respect can come to take over as he sees your complete inability to think for yourself. Sure he'll be happy to step in every once in while and decide what to do one evening, but to have to constantly take charge can be exhausting.
Give him a break and let him know what's really on your mind. This is important in order to have a well balanced relationship, but it's ultimately important to your happiness as well. Biting your tongue and holding in your opinions can leave you feeling frustrated.
