Major Deposit Of Molybdenum Substance In China
Judging from the whole world, most of molybdenum deposits were mainly formed in the
Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras; they constitute about 90% of the total explored molybdenum reserves throughout the world. Besides a small number of copper (molybdenum) deposits formed during the Hercynian magmatism of the Palaeozoic era and the Himalayan movement of the Cenozoic era in China, a majority of molybdenum deposits and copper (molybdenum) deposits are products of the Yanshanian movement of the Mesozoic, resulting from the extensive development of the Yanshanian fracture tectonics and granitoid intrusions in the east of China. Although there are lots of explored molybdenum reserves in China, the ore grade, however, is lower remarkably than that of the world"s major countries of molybdenum resources--the United States and Chile. Ours are mainly deposits with low-grade ores. The reserves of deposits with 0.1% Mo account for 65% of the country"s total, among which those with 0.05 Mo make up 10% of the total. The ores of medium grade (0.1%~0.2%) account for 30% of the total, those of higher grade (0.2%~0.3%) make up 4% of the total, and high-grade ores ( 0.3%)--only 1% of the total. Though the grade of China"s molybdenum ores is low, they, however, contain a number of useful components. Statistics indicate that the reserves of deposits with unitary molybdenum ores only constitute 14% of country"s total, while the reserves of deposits with molybdenum as the major mineral and other associated useful components occupy 60% of the country"s total. The molybdenum reserves with associated elements, as copper, tungsten, tin and others account for 22% of the country"s total. Large size is another characteristic of China"s molybdenum deposits, and most of them are suitable for open-cut mining. Statistics show that, the large deposits with reserves greater than 0.1 million tons occupy 76% of the country"s total reserves, the medium-sized deposits with 10,000~100,000 tons of reserves constitute 20% of the country"s total. The reserves of molybdenum deposits, which are suitable for open-cut mining, make up 64% of the country"s total. A majority of large deposits are suitable for open-cut mining, moreover the molybdenite particles usually are large, and easy to mine and to dress. As to the ore types, among the explored molybdenum reserves the molybdenum sulfide ores, easy to use, are dominant and their reserves account for about 99% of country"s total retained reserves, while the molybdenum oxide, difficult to use, mixed molybdenum ores and ores of unknown types only constitute 1% of the country"s total. China"s main molybdenum ore deposits are the Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit, Nannihu-Sandaozhuang molybdenum deposit, Daheishan molybdenum deposit, Yangjia-zhangzi molybdenum deposit and Huanglongpu molybdenum deposit. As the professional manufacturer of complete sets of mining machinery, such as
Classifier,
cement mill, Henan Hongxing is always doing the best in products and service. The Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit is located on the southern foot of the famous Mt. Huashan in the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains. It is 4.5 km2 in area. The deposit was discovered in the reconnaissance survey in 1955 and then subjected to detailed exploration carried out in 1958. The final geological exploration report of the Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit of Huaxian County, Shaanxi province was presented in 1959. A small plant with a capacity of treating 500 tons of ores daily was built up in 1959. A pilot plant capable of mining and dressing 500 tons of ores per day was put into production in 1966. The first-phase construction of a mine for daily mining and dressing 5,000 tons of ores and the second-phase construction of the mine capable of daily mining and dressing 15,000 tons of ores were completed in 1970 and 1984 respectively and the Lianhuasi Smelting Plant--a component part of the whole project was also put into production in 1989. Therefore the Jinduicheng mining district has become a major molybdenum production base with a complete system of mining, dressing and smelting in China. The accumulative explored reserves of the deposit attain 978,000 tons, with an ore grade of 0.099% Mo. The Nannihu-Sandaozhuang molybdenum (tungsten) deposit, Henan province, is a large deposit discovered during a reconnaissance survey from the end of fifties to the mid sixties and proved by subsequent exploration in the early 80s, with accumulative reserves reaching 1,337,000 tons. The ore grade of the Nannihu deposit is low, about 0.076%, but that of the Sandaozhuang deposit is higher, about 0.115%. The Daheishan molybdenum deposit, Jilin province, is a large one, discovered and explored in the 50s, with a very large amount of reserves, attaining 1,090,000 tons (molybdenum metal). However, its ore grade is very low, only 0.066% on an average. In addition to molybdenum, there are 490,000 tons of copper (with an average grade of 0.03%) and a considerable amount of gold, gallium, rhenium and pyrite. The Yangjiazhangzi molybdenum deposit, Liaoning province was discovered in the 40s of the present century. It is the large molybdenum mine developed at the earliest time in China, with accumulative explored reserves amounting to 117,500 tons, with an ore grade of 0.141%. The Huanglongpu molybdenum (lead) deposit, Shaanxi province, is 12 km away from the Jinduicheng molybdenum deposit, but its genetic type is quite different from that of the latter. It is of a carbonatite vein type, with retained molybdenum reserves amounting to 115,000 tons, and an ore grade of 0.086%.drum dryer:http://www.crusher-machine.com/24.html china cement mills:http://www.crusher-machine.com/23.html
