The first several blocks coming from the Wharf still have the ruins of old canneries. In Fishermans Wharf you can find dozens of restaurant and souvenir shops as well as various walk-up fish stands. Glass-bottom boat tours, whale watching tours and fishing expeditions leave from the wharf.

Monterey State Historic Park is a collection of significant historic houses and buildings interspersed throughout Old Monterey. 17 mile drive passes through an exclusive neighborhood, past scenic beaches, golf courses and luxury hotels. You can have a fantastic trip.
