Christmas is a happy time of the year for a variety of reasons most of which involve
opportunities to spend time with family and friends that you only get to see once a year. By taking basic holiday paper, and turning it into a full blown family Christmas letter, not only can you share your wishes for a great holiday season, but you can expand that by going over the highlights of the last year and your hopes and plans for the next. This gives you the chance to turn a traditional seasons greetings into an opportunity to highlight the family events and accomplishments for the year.
A Christmas card may fit the personality of some but for many it just isn't enough. While getting a Christmas card is fine, receiving a letter is a way to catch up with what's going on in the lives of others, reaching for a more personal and intimate view of what's going on. Emails and phone calls are good too, but all too often we don't have time for phone calls and emails are even more impersonal in a way than a simple card. This can really spice up the outside of your envelope and encourage the recipient to open it. Adding touches like these really do dress up what would ordinarily be a rather plain envelope but it takes the Christmas spirit theme to a whole new level.
