4. We build a web presence with a SEO (Search Engine Optimized) home page and landing page that is designed to convert.

5. We add product(s) that are attractive to our target market (not just to us!).

6. We build a web of articles that are about related keywords that point to our site or the landing page.

7. We add links to all the Social Media sites to which we belong that point to our site.

8. We approach site owners that have related sites and ask if we can back link to them.

9. We add our site to as many directories as we can find.

10. We add a widget to allow people to bookmark the site, and do so on as many sites as we can find that allow this.

The product we sell can be anything that appeals to us or more specifically to our identified target market. If you do not have a product then you can use affiliate networks such as Amazon, eBay, ClickBank, Commission Junction, Cafe Press etc. etc.

The idea about the process is to get as many high ranked sites as possible pointing to your site. The article directories such as Ezine, Articlesbase, GoArticles are excellent for this as are Blogger and Squidoo (which can be used as Web 2.0 hosts). The advantage of your own domain is that you do not have to comply with restriction on your affiliate links that are imposed on sites such as Blogger and Squidoo.

In starting out be careful to read all the rules and regulations of the sites you choose, as some think that to Make money from the Internet is almost disreputable.

However there is an easy way to ensure that you are well informed and that is to join a private members club that assists in your Internet Marketing efforts. These clubs often also provide the tools you will need to follow this process.
