It's easy enough for anyone to put up a small site. Even school kids can slap together a few pages overnight. It is another story entirely though to make a site that earns well. Aside from good content, owners also have to make sure that their online properties are search engine optimized. This helps engine robots index and rank pages so even more visitors come in from search results.

A limited number of optimized pages can already send in decent earnings. Clearly though, if your main goal is to have enough cash to retire early and enjoy holidays, one small site won't be enough. If you want to really earn well, you need to build a strong network of mini websites. This network can have sites that each focus on different niches. Aside from providing you with multiple income streams from different areas, varied niche sites also ensure you will earn even if some niche topics go out of season.

Having a network of scaled down online domains isn't as costly as having to make and maintain a handful of large web properties. Take note though that even if you focus exclusively on creating the small members of your network, you can still end up with considerable expenses that you may have a hard time offsetting with your income. This can happen if you do not follow a system when you start to build websites.

Creating a system for a network isn't as difficult as it seems. In most cases, all you really have to do is to sit down with pen and paper in hand and jot down what you need. Naturally your list would contain such items as technical tools, resources and manpower.

Perhaps the most critical of all the tools that you need is manpower. You need workers who can shell out quality work in a timely manner. You can simplify your search for site builders by getting a project manager first to oversee the hiring process.

Your manager can work with you to pick coders, writers and designers from your shortlist. You can get people to work on your mini sites from within your geographic location to ensure close work supervision. As most online entrepreneurs know though, it is often cheaper to hire experts from other countries. If you are able to devise a work monitoring system, contractors from outside your region will not be difficult to manage.

If you still have a small network, you can do with just one contractor for each area of concern. You can hire more people when your network starts to grow. Assign your current staff to find people they know who might be willing to work in similar capacities.

Mini sites truly generate good profits. What you just need to make sure you do earn well is a well oiled system that puts great importance in finding good contractors. Create your ideal system first before deciding to dive into mini website creation.
