We know for a fact that tourist visas cannot be used by immigrants to work in another country
. But all day shopping and road tripping are just for first time tourists. For people who have family members or acquaintances abroad that they regularly visit, working there is already an option. However, going back to the first statement, any government will not allow immigrants or tourists to apply for a job when all they've got are tourist visas.
But not all jobs need to be registered with the government. The Irish government for example is not particularly strict on their tourists with regards short-term employment opportunities. Therefore, it is possible to make money in Ireland while taking your vacation.
Tourists can take menial jobs such as sewing or cross stitching jobs for small stores. Most jobs that can be done by tourists are those that do not require the tourist to go out of the house to accomplish it. There are also skilled occupations that can be done by tourists while taking a vacation in Ireland. Watch repair, cooking packed lunches for neighbors, and even tutorial services for kids in the neighborhood can all be done without authorization from the government. Well, for as long as it follows with the laws and does not cause commotion in the locality then everything's going to be fine.
So go ahead and take your vacation while you make money in Ireland. When you're tired of going from one tourist spot to another, retire to your home and do some menial jobs to earn you some more money for shopping.
