Make a Guy Commit How to Make Him Want to

Do you feel like it's impossible to make a guy commit? What does it take to push him over the edge? Are you beginning to think that his intentions don't have the same depth as yours? A relationship that isn't growing is doomed to fail, so maybe it's time for you to see if you can make a guy commit. It's easier than you think.

Most women are still "old school" when it comes to letting the guy take the lead in a relationship. But, let's face it, girls: guys may be great leaders in business and camping trips, but they have no business leading the way in a relationship. It's like putting a child in charge of the candy store. You wouldn't want to invest in the future of that business. He knows how to enjoy a relationship; but, like the child, he is likely to plunder all the goodies and leave it bankrupt.

It's not his fault; nature has already planned his strategy. He has no built-in need to settle down and raise a family. He is a wandering barbarian in search of conquest, and then moving on. If you leave it up to him, he will remain in his comfort zoneyou're there when he wants you, otherwise he comes and goes as he pleases. What could be more perfect? Why mess everything up with commitment?

In order to make a guy commit, you have to walk that fine line between waiting forever for him to make a move and scaring him away with the threat of love and monogamy ever after.

If you've been together for a while and are secure in your knowledge of his true and deep affection, you still have to be careful. You cannot drag any man kicking and screaming into a commitment and then expect to have a fairytale ending. You have to make him realize two things: he already is committed to you and can't live without you; and it's a happy, comfy place that would be scary to leave.

Men don't chase after love the way women do; they chase after women. We find love, but love has to find a man. Love is your goal right from the beginning; but you are his goal. Once he gets you, then it is up to you to let him discover, in a natural and comfortable way, that incredible surprise he was never expectinglove.

The best way to make him realize that he already feels that commitment (and is comfortable with it and needs it) is to become more independent yourself. Go out without him. When he goes out to meet the guys, make sure you go to the club with the girls. Make sure all of your dates don't end up in the bedroom. Give him just a little bit less of your closeness and touch and warmth. Save the "love talk" for the girls, and talk work and yoga class and movies with him.

If he really does have the love and devotion for you that you think he does, then you have the power and you can make a guy commit.
