You spend a lot of time into writing high quality articles for article directories in exchange for a few back links to your main website. But is this all that you can get out of your articles is a few back links and some free traffic?

To be honest there are a lot of other things that you can do with your articles, as they can serve you in many different ways. Here are a few ideas to help you make the most from your articles:

Compile them in an Ebook

Everybody loves to receive free stuff, and what better way to create an ebook than to compile your articles that you have already written. You may have to make small, but minor changes to your articles so that they will flow smoothly in an ebook, but this does not have to take you long.

Then once your ebook is done, you simply give it away for free on your website or blog in exchange for someone's email address so that you can continue to market to them with email marketing.

In addition, when you create your own ebook, you can add as many affiliate links into it as you like. Then when someone downloads your book you are essentially marketing to them without you having to do anything.

Compile them into a Free Course

If you write a lot of how to articles then you can use your articles to create a free mini-course that you can offer on your website or blog. And again you would collect email addresses for the purpose of email marketing.

Put them on Your Blog

If you have a blog then by all means you can use your articles on your blog. This is one of the advantages of blogging, as you can add all your articles to your blog provided that you supply your readers with new information in each article.

The only thing to keep in mind though is that you want the article on your blog to rank higher than the article that you submit to article directories. Therefore you may want to add it to your blog first, and then when it has been indexed, you can submit it to other directories.
