So if a student is not able to get high grades need not necessarily be ignorant and careless. Bringing out changes in eating, sleeping and studying habits also helps in a large way. The amount of syllabus in colleges is comparatively vaster and students have to understand and prepare many lessons and text within very less time. This difference in level of studies calls for a change in the study methods too as the studies in colleges require a much serious approach and plays a vital role in molding up carriers. College study skills include cutting down unimportant piece of information to concentrate on more exam oriented part of the course. In such studies it is essential to focus on getting the grip of the text to identify its main idea and molding it in an easy to understand form.
