The size of the building won't matter as much to you if you are more intent on the quality and size of your vineyard. By sacrificing building space, you can get the most out of your passion for wine and wine production. Hunting is another passion that many chateau owners share. With a great deal of land, you can hunt all day and never leave your property. With both of these examples, the size of the house is inconsequential.

This would allow you to visit your chateau at specified times during the course of the year while other folks would live in it during the times you are not there.
