Making Him Commit Get to the Heart of His Fear

Does he already know how important it is to you to have him make a commitment to you? Despite this, is he forging on as if he knew nothing and he's showing no signs of ever making a move? Do you wish there was a way of getting him to understand that you really want this? When men get to that comfort zone, it can be impossible to nudge them out. Here's what you can do to get him to make that move once and for all.

Don't suddenly cling to him for dear life.

Many women will simply drop everything and offer up each free moment to be with him. They go wherever he goes and do everything he does. Some relationships can live through this, if there is a true bond of friendship and respect. However, in most cases, the man needs a little breathing room.

Avoid crowding him by having your own life. Keep the things you've always enjoyed doing and don't drop everything for him. He'll respect the variety of things you love and you'll be happier knowing that you're not giving up everything for him. And the bonus in all this is that you can actually be away enough to make him miss you.

But what is he missing?

If you've already started harping on him for everything and he's feeling like he can never do anything right, your absences might be more of a relief than you thought. Perhaps your sudden reappearances laden with complaints and criticism aren't welcomed.

You need to respect him for the man he is; the man you fell in love with. He's not perfect and you have to remember that you're not either. And your way isn't always the best way. Let him breathe without having you down his back.

When he sees that life with you is great, that the future looks bright, and that he risks losing you if he doesn't wise up, he'll make that commitment to you.
