Twitter

At it's heart, Twitter remains a social networking site. You can secure new clients, promote your product or services, promote your website and blog and a host of other things. Here are some things you can do to take advantage fully of Twitter:

1. Respond to direct messages - Do not ignore those who send you a direct message (unless they are clearly spam). Even if you have an 'auto-response' set up, it is still better than ignoring people.


2. Re-Tweet - Promoting other people's work can possibly bring about additional traffic and attention to your tweets. Twitter isn't a one way marketing stream, it takes some personal commitment on your part.
