Although Cambridge is another city, it is still within the Greater Boston area, and it is only 10 kilometers from Downtown Boston. The local subway system, known as the 'T' serves this small city well, hence you will find it easy to reach from Downtown Boston. When you are in these, you will have the opportunity to visit a number of museums, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard Square, and Harvard University.
