Before getting a place to rent for your long awaited Mammoth winter vacation

, you need to ascertain the policies that they have so that you would not be able to commit a mistake or have some misconceptions upon reaching the place. Their policies are easy and in fact favor vacationers more than owners of the lodgings.

One of their policies is that the person who would be making the reservation for the rental must be of legal age, 21 years old. The same age requirement applies for anybody who would sign the rental agreement.

Make sure that when you reserved a place to stay at Mammoth, you pay the balance right away or within the time that you arranged to fully pay your balance. If you were not able to pay the balance, your reservation would neither be final nor confirmed. If you paid in check, it would only be considered as final once the check has been cleared.

The rate that Mammoth Lakes condos would give you is inclusive of the towels and linens that you would be using. There is also a Town Occupancy Tax at Mammoth which is 13 percent. Every time you make a reservation, the tax is included right away. So always expect this addition so that you may have the needed amount upon making your reservation.

If you are a big family, it is always a good idea to reserve large Mammoth Lakes condos. Dont try to reserve a small room and upon arriving, simply pack everyone inside like a can of sardines. The rentals have a limit to the number of persons that can occupy the room and if you exceed their required maximum number for that condo, you would be charged with penalties, as well as additional fees. The worst that could happen is for you to get evicted from the condo.

The rates for different Mammoth Lakes condos may differ but you can always expect the same reservation and rental policies. So before proceeding to Mammoth for that lovely winter vacation, make sure that you have settled your reservation and have complied with the policies. This would assure you of a great time at Mammoth Mountains.
