They use two methods of tin coating for varying qualities and features of the wires. These are the electroplating and the hot dip process.

The hot dip process manufactures the copper wires with more or less similar features but with the only exception that it is not as pure as the wires manufactured through electroplating. The electroplating process for tin coating of wires gives the purest form of copper wire than any other process.

In the hot dip process, the tin is made to melt in an electric pot in which the copper wire is dipped to create the tin coated copper wire. This is done after the process of electroplating which makes the purest form of copper. The electroplating process of tin coating is done by passing the wire through a chemical tray. DC current is used in this process by converting the supply current with a rectifier. The copper wire thus produced is used for house wiring, control panel cable and many other similar electrical and electronic uses. The copper wire does not look like such a great thing if you do not know all about it use.
