Many Uses For Clear Glass Vases: What You Can Do With Them

There are a lot of people out there who will look at clear glass vases and see nothing more than a place to put freshly cut flowers

. While the glass vases do an excellent job at showing off your latest flower arrangement, they can actually do so much more!

One creative thing to use with clear vases is colorful rocks or gems. Alternate them with rows of different colors and textures for an incredible look. You could try to match the rest of the decor in the room and really come up with something that is going to add some class.

If you have ever wanted a tiny goldfish or a beta fish, you could use nice sized glass vases for their home instead of the traditional glass fish bowl. Don't worry, there really isn't much of a difference between the clear glass vases and the clear vases other than their shape. You will be able to bring a new pet into the house and his house will be much cooler than the other goldfishes in town!

Depending on the size and the width of the glass vases you have, you could add water to them and then some floating candles. For a unique effect, you can color the water a color that will help to make the color of the floating candle stand out.

Some people have even taken the glass vases, filled them with potpourri and then added a short strand of lights. This creates a beautiful centerpiece for fireplace mantels and dining room tables. Of course, you have to make sure that the bulbs will not over heat.

Some ideas might come from something that sparked an interest in you while watching television. Something might be an entirely new idea that no one else has ever thought of. The idea is to take something that is commonly used for one thing and to re purpose it for something else. This is done all of the time with other things and now you will be able to do it with the clear glass vases.

Also, once you start trying all sorts of new things with the glass vases, you will probably find that you have inspired your friends and family to do the same. This is very exciting since they might just be able to share ideas with you that you would have not otherwise come up with on your own.
