This quick maturing hard cheese is produced in Sardinia, Lazio and Tuscany regions of Italy. Pecorino cheese is available in a wide variety with flavors ranging from mild to tangy and salty to nutty. It is highly aromatic with a pale yellow surface.
Parmigiano-Reggiano
The Parmigiano-Reggiano is known as the king of cheeses. You can use it in hot pastas, soups, risottos or just eat it plain. Mainly produced in the northern provinces of Italy such as Parma, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Mantova and Bologna, this aromatic cheese undergoes rigourous inspection by experts before being sent out for consumption.
Gorgonzola
Originated from Piedmont and Lombardy provinces this cheese is made from cow's or goat's milk. It is one of the most famous cheeses in the world and can be identified easily with its blue-green veins. Gorgonzola has a sweet flavor at a young age which then turns pungent as it matures.
Mozzarella di Bufala Campana
Made from themilk of water buffalo, Mozzarella di bufala tastes delicate and milky with a mild surface. After production this cheese takes the form of oval balls and is packed with whey & water. There also exists another variety of mozzarella which is made from cow's milk. Known as mozzarella fior di latte, this cheese is comparatively less priced than Mozzarella di bufala.
Bel Paese
With its delicate, buttery flavor, this semi-soft cheese makes a scrumptious option for a dessert or snack. It generally melts easily and hence is used in a variety of
