. Now cut Normal Trees anywhere you like. However, if you do want to bank them and make money at this level, cut them around Draynor bank. There are 3-4 trees which are near to the bank. Don't get close to level 26 aggressive Jail Guards unless you have a Combat level of 53 or higher. Don't forget to switch to Steel Axe at level 6 for 200 rs gp, or buy a Black Axe in Grand Exchange. Levels 15-70: Now you have two choices. One is stick with Normal Trees. I recommend cutting them at Draynor. If your Combat level is lower than 53, always keep an eye on those Jail Guards. Another is cut Oak Trees. I recommend this since lots of members buy it, to get profit by making it into Oak Planks, so take this advantage. I
recommend two places:
One is near Draynor Jail. There are 2 trees with a square to stand between them. There's also a tree that is not far away from them. There are also quite a few trees inside the Jail area, but not so convenient like these two. If you're under 53 Combat, then don't use this place as there are Jail Guards nearby. Another is south-west of Varrock East bank. There are 3 trees, just like a triangle. Always use this one if you're under 53 Combat.
Neither of these places is crowded, but if there is a person already cutting there, it's wise to change a world, as there aren't enough trees for 2 players cutting fluently. So let's list the pros and cons of both kinds of trees (Normal's pros are Oak's cons, Oak's pros are Normal's cons):
Normal Trees' Pros:
1. Normal Logs sold 1-2
Runescape Money more than Oak Logs in Grand Exchange, but that doesn't make sense, does it?
2. There are quite a lot of normal trees all over RuneScape.
Oak Trees' Pros:
1. Cutting Oak Trees provides more Woodcutting exp than cutting Normal Trees.
2. More people buy Oak Logs, because of the huge profit from making Oak Planks.
Also, don't forget to change to Mithril Axe at level 21, Adamant Axe at level 31, and finally Rune Axe at level 41. Buy all of these at Grand Exchange.
Level 70-99: OK, the concept below is what every Woodcutting money-making guide consists. Now you should cut Yew Trees. The price of Yew Logs is as high as 446gp each.
Although every guide like mine consists the places to cut Yew Trees, I will put some here as well:
1) Northern Varrock Palace. Bank in Grand Exchange bank. 2) West of Edgeville Dungeon Entrance. Bank in Edgeville bank. 3) South of Falador. Bank in Falador East bank. I'm not posting pictures of these, because you can easily find them on the world map WOW Gold. They're signed with rare tree sign, and located in F2P area. All of these trees are Yew. Something else before ending: Why not cut Willow Trees? It's pretty easy. I tried to sell 100 Willow Logs in Grand Exchange, at the lowest price 18gp each, and it wasn't bought in 1 week. But if I do this with Oak Logs, the lowest price is 24gp each, and someone bought my 280 Oak Logs for 25gp each immidiately.
Tricks & Tips: ALWAYS set your SOUND EFFECT(not music) option on. Then you will notice that when you are cutting a tree, there's some sound effect. It stops either any of these 2 happens: 1. The tree has been cut down. 2. A random event has taken place(i.e. Ent, Tree Spirit, Mystrious Old Man) If 1 happens, find another tree to cut. If 2 happens, run away from Ent and Tree Spirit, solve other random events. Useful if you're a person like me, like to view other pages while gaining exp.
