Mapusa In Goa

Located 13 km from the South of Panjim in the Bardez Taluka Mapusa is the third largest town of South Goa and has a rich historical past

. It is believed that much before Portuguese Marathas and Sultans established this town.

The Church of Our Lady of Miracle: It was built in 1594 and has a long history. Earlier it was named St Jerome's Church was it was later changed. The architecture of this cathedral is simply awesome. But is it most famous for its grand feasts organized in the month of October.
